OrderFlow Release 4.2.5

Palletised cardboard boxes in ground level racking bay

We’re pleased to announce the release of OrderFlow 4.2.5. This is primarily a small ticket release, with over 70 new features and bug fixes introduced. We’ve also improved the mechanism for receiving and handling weight-based raw material stock. We’ve included notable new features in a variety of areas, from delivery receipt and putaway to licence plate management and lot tracking.

With OrderFlow 4.2.5, we’ve added a dedicated set of processes to handle large quantities of raw material, where stock is weighed on receipt, the container type captured and the contents weight automatically captured from scales. A new work order-based process allows stock to be picked by weight and consolidated into larger containers.

In this release we’ve also extended our support for licence plates. We’ve added a new licence plate putaway option,  a standalone mechanism for printing licence plate labels and the ability to print licence plate labels during handheld-based receipting.

Additional notable features in this release include:

  • the ability to set product lots against individual order lines using the desktop GUI
  • performance improvements that allow the system to handle the despatch of much larger groups of outgoing shipments (transportations).
  • a number of improvements to the handheld functionality, including the ability to enable pin protection on a per operation basis, and more robust form handling to prevent users from mistakenly resubmitting forms.
